[SED] Mu Zeta Chapter #294

Brothers and Sisters,

On behalf of the National Council of Kappa Kappa Psi, it is my pleasure to
announce the installation of the Mu Zeta chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, chapter
#294, at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California.  The
installation took place Sunday, May 11, 2008 (Mother's Day) on the DVC
campus.

The installation was attended by the following chapters of Kappa Kappa Psi:
Beta Omicron, Gamma Kappa, Iota Alpha, Iota Kappa, Iota Pi, and Lambda Psi.
Also in attendance were Tau Beta Sigma members from Omega, Alpha Chi, and
Eta Omega. Thanks to Western district officers who attended: Zac Humphrey,
Adam Brover, and Scott Phillips. Finally, a special thank you is sent to all
the friends and family of the colonists who attended the installation
ceremony, especially the moms who decided to celebrate Mother's Day with us
on campus.

Thanks to the Iota Alpha chapter at the California State University in
Fresno for serving as the advising chapter.  Also, thank you to Nicholas
Chitwood for serving as the advising person for Mu Zeta. They did a great
job and guided this new chapter well.

Mu Zeta is the sixth chapter to be installed this biennium. They will make
an excellent addition to our National Chapter and the Western District of
Kappa Kappa Psi.
